Co-design

Co-production is a key principle of the project. It includes co-designing interfaces and services for weather and climate information (WCI) with users so that it addresses user needs.

This process brings together the producers of WCI (e.g. National Meteorological Service) and those who use the information to make decisions, often using intermediaries to help connect these actors, in order to strengthen WCI services. This approach leads to better use of these services to make a range of decisions across many sectors as well as improves trust between users and the National Meteorological Service.
