A robust research and analysis exercise is undertaken to assess key factors like access, understanding, accuracy, preference, relevance and use related to weather and climate information.
It includes qualitative analysis using tools such as Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and quantitative analysis using tools such as Household Surveys (HHS), mass media tracking, etc. Findings from this exercise will provide the necessary inputs for designing the pilot service(s).
